About Us

We are based in the village of Gwaun cae Gurwen, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, in South Wales. Back in 2000 we bought a Victorian house that was once a shop & it's this shop space that is now our jewellery studio.

We haven't always designed jewellery - the business started in 1997 designing greetings cards, which we sold all around the world. A hobby of designing jewellery to give to friends led us away from greetings cards &  we now supply our jewellery to shops, visitor attractions, garden centres & galleries right across the UK & beyond. We employ 2 members of staff, both from the local area.

What does the name RONIN mean? Well, it's not Welsh, it's actually a Japanese term for a "masterless Samurai".

We are completely besotted with our Border Collie Jacob. In our spare time we like to take him to some of the long sandy beaches of Wales or go walking in the bleak beauty of the Brecon Beacons.
